The paintings here are mostly currently available.
They include ocean and beach/seaside paintings,
waterfront, shipping and sailing related subjects.
I love the coast and the power of the ocean.
When I get a chance to go to the coast, I like the activity
of the Newcastle industrial waterfront, and our big
ocean beaches especially late in the day when the ocean
becomes a deep blue and the beach is quiet, it’s just
the sound of the sea and the birds.
These are all studio paintings, loosely based on watercolour
studies, photographs and my memory of the feelings of being there on the day.
