21 May White Bay power station – revisited
I was so chuffed when someone emailed me about a painting they loved from an exhibition back in 2016!
The work was sold long ago, but it’s great when people remember. It was the largest painting I had done at that time
at 228cm wide. Too small. This was a recent commission that was to be larger. Ok then.
First, I submitted a ‘rough sketch’ they could tape in situ to be sure of the size. That was good.
It was a pleasure to do this for a lovely client, and I have finally decided that I like painting BIG (a nice change after
years and many hundreds of Very Small Paintings)!
